Bangus (milkfish), tilapia and mamali (big head) are the species that are raised in the fishponds. Ayungin, kanduli, hipon (shrimps) and biya are some of the other species that are catched by the fishermen outside the fishponds.
The Lake produces 85,000 metric tons of fish per year from aquaculture
